Official transcript requests

All transcript requests are processed through the National Student Clearinghouse. PLEASE NOTE: If you attended JBU before 2010, your records are in our legacy system. When you order your transcript, it will say, "record is not found." Double-check your information is correct, then select "No" you do not want to edit your information and the "continue" button.

Transcript request FAQ

How do I check on the status of my transcript request?

Track your order online. You will need your Order Number and email address. Your order number was emailed to you by the National Student Clearinghouse.

How long does it take for an electronic transcript to be sent?

Electronic transcripts may take up to 24 hours to send. Check the status of your electronic order online.

Why would JBU hold my transcript?

All financial obligations to John Brown University must be paid in full before we can release your official transcript. If you have questions regarding your account please contact StudentAccounts@jbu.edu or 479.524.7398.

How do I pay for my transcript?

Payment is made at the time you submit your transcript request through the National Student Clearinghouse website.

What if it says "Record Not Found" when I try to submit my transcript request?

If you attended JBU prior to 2010 your records are found in a legacy system. Please submit your transcript request using the link above, and we will locate your information and mail the transcript to the address you provide.

Can you help with an apostille for documents?

JBU does not provide apostilling services to university alumni. While we do not endorse any company in particular, below are several service providers.

Diploma requests

Additional copies of diplomas may be ordered for $10 per diploma. If you have questions about ordering additional or replacement copies of your diploma, contact Julie McGarrah in the Registrar's Office at (479) 524-7103 or jmcgarrah@jbu.edu .

Receiving my diploma

You should receive your diploma approximately 10 weeks after graduation.

The cost is $10. See info above for ordering. We must have payment before issuing a replacement diploma.
